Mimic Bites: A clouring book in development
As part of my brand the Domestic Dungeoneer, I recently created a sticker series building off my much loved modern mimic collection. (mimic is a shape-shifting monster that disguises itself as an inanimate object) This collection was so much fun and recieved so much enthusiasm that I decided to turn them into a colouring book as well. For the colouring book I need a whole load more specimens here you can see some of my process for developing this new collection of these mini monsters.
My Initial Mimic collection was inspired but classical still life's. I wanted to create beautiful pieces that had an old school fine art vibe with the humour and delight that malicious mimics would bring to such a traditional setting.
As I have a very sweet tooth and being very British, biscuits have a very important place in my heart. So here you have some classic biscuits. Here is the sticker sheet which I recently released and it went so well I felt that a next step was needed so firstly I am working on 3 new sets of stickers for my shop (very exciting) In addition I felt the next step is to also convert them in to a colouring book.
These are just the first of the collection but I am so excited to make process on these monsterous little treats and I am looking forward to sharing them.
